Through Heart(h) for Homes, community members and local businesses can sponsor firewood for an older adult, low-income household or vulnerable neighbour in our region. Hearth & Hive coordinates the campaign, gathers eligible recipients and uses a fair randomized selection process to distribute the available sponsorships.

Provides one full cord of seasoned split birch firewood, local delivery and coordination for a selected household.
Share a Sponsorship · $250
Combine your contribution with another supporter’s to provide a full cord of firewood to a selected household.

Every contribution helps us provide more firewood and reach more neighbours during the heating season.
Your Sponsorship, Recognized
Businesses that sponsor Heart(h) for Homes may be recognized on the Hearth & Hive website and campaign materials with their name, logo and website link. Sponsors may also be invited to participate in the firewood delivery when practical and when the recipient is comfortable. Public recognition and delivery participation are always optional.
How to Sponsor
- Choose a sponsorship option above
- Make a secure online payment through Stripe. If you prefer to contribute by e-transfer, send your sponsorship to [email protected] and include your business or sponsor name in the message.
- After contributing, please complete the sponsorship form below. This tells us how you would like to be recognized, allows you to submit your logo and lets us know whether you are interested in participating in the delivery. We will contact you to confirm the sponsorship and discuss the next steps.
Hearth & Hive Community Society is a nonprofit society but is not currently a registered charity. Sponsorships are gratefully acknowledged; however, charitable tax receipts cannot be issued at this time.
